Composite Resin Fillings

 

Also known as tooth coloured fillings, are popular and are now preferred by most patients and dentists. The advantages of composite resin fillings are that they are natural in appearance, they come in a variety of shades for a perfect color match and they bond directly to the teeth, helping to restore your tooth's natural appearance.

 

Dental bonding can be used to fix teeth that are chipped.		A clear plastic is placed between the tooth being treated and its neighbouring tooth. Composite resin is put onto the tooth in layers.

Each layer of the composite resin is shaped and then hardened with a light.		The finished tooth looks natural and smooth.
