Dr. Shelina Amlani

Dr. Amlani is very proud to have served Barrhaven and the surrounding community for the past twelve years at our current location. She has been practicing dentistry for a total of nineteen years. Dr. Amlani graduated from McGill University in 1985 where she obtained an under-graduate degree in Physiology, and her dental degree from Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1989. After graduation she extended her education by completing a one year hospital residency in Northern Ontario to work in remote areas under less than ideal conditions. She has extensive training in orthodontics and considers this to be one of her dental passions. Dr. Amlani continues today to participate in continuing education lectures and seminars and is a long standing member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association and the Ottawa Dental Society. She believes in providing the latest care available to her patients by remaining educated on the newest techniques and materials available in dentistry today. In 2008 Dr. Amlani completed a mini-residency course in Implantology. Dr. Amlani is committed to building a lasting relationship with you, your family and the community. She highly values her patients trust and takes enormous pride in helping them achieve and maintain excellent oral health.
