Veneers
Veneers
are thin layers of porcelain which are bonded onto the front surface of
your teeth (usually anterior teeth). This procedure is used to mask teeth
that are discoloured, misaligned or chipped. They will benefit patients who
have spaces to close, to re-align crooked teeth, to increase length and/or
width of your teeth, and will have the added affect of increasing maximum
whiteness. Veneers are strong and have a longer life span than bonding,
but the treatment process requires more time. Treatment can take two or
more office visits to complete.
